Legacy pages are generated only when the current site has a local source-backed mapping. This avoids false equivalence between editions where a code was split, merged or restructured.
A legacy page is not treated as a direct one-to-one replacement unless the source layer explicitly supports that relationship. Where the local data only provides candidate matching, the page is labelled as a discovery route and links users to current code pages for verification.
Old NIC 2008 codes still appear in company records, annual returns, legacy ERP systems and archived compliance documents. This hub lets you enter any five-digit NIC 2008 code or NCO 2004 occupation code and see the closest match in the current NIC 2025 or NCO-2015 edition.
Matches are ranked by title similarity and hierarchy overlap. They serve as a starting point for migration, not a final legal determination, so always confirm the suggested code against the official source before using it in a new filing.
